" I have worked for Rogers for 3 and a half years now. I really love meeting new and interesting people each and every day. I also love seeing familiar faces of our many customers who have chosen to shop with Rogers over the decades here in Reno and developing new relationships as I get to know many of our customers while helping with their jewelry needs. It is so fun finding that special piece of jewelry to add to their collection or give as the perfect gift. Each opportunity is different, and I enjoy the satisfied look I see on the face of our customers when they find their ideal piece of jewelry. At some of our shows we bring in jewelry that has been worn by famous celebrities on the red carpet at the Oscars. There was one piece that caught my eye, a pair of Harry Kotlar Emerald and Diamond dangle earrings, worn by Sarah Paulson. They were very unique, Art Deco stye with 6 carat cabochon Emeralds and set in platinum. I am the outdoorsy type, and I enjoy Reno and the Tahoe area; snow skiing, water skiing and boating in our local lakes. I like to get away on my days off to discover a new location. I spent 25 years in the dining industry as a waiter and wine sommelier, so I also enjoy making meals with my fiancé or friends, and selecting a bottle of fine wine to share with friends or sip with a delicious meal."

That was some diamond, and they were so happy In my spare time I enjoy golfing and most of all being a dad."
